Default Chassis skins/protectors/wraps

Are these worth purchasing? I bought a used vehicle and it has slight wear to the bottom of the chassis from typical use, nothing bad however. I was browsing ebay and saw a chassis protector. Are these worth buying or will the vinyl material rip easily?

Here is an example of what I'm talking about.

Cheeers.

I see quite a few guys run them on the buggys, but never on a 4x4....I'm sure the weight of the truck would make the wear of the vinyl alot faster than that of the lighter vehicles! Just my opinion lol

I wouldn't get to elaborate on the wrap. You can get away with the nicer ones with a 2WD buggy, etc. because they are typically lighter. With a 4WD SCT specifically, if anything, go with a clear one. Simply put, it's going to get ripped up. That's not to say it won't still protect the chassis, because it will.
