Default Nylon pops out of nyloc hex nuts when installing - Solution?

I have Assoc. extenders and Assoc. nyloc hex nuts. All blue matching parts.
When I thread a nut on, it just pushes the nylon out of the nut.
Out of 4, 1 went on properly and 1 ruined the nylon ring.
What's the trick?
Tried spray lube and grease but no help there.
Thanks

You really don't want to lubing any threads even though you're putting on a nyloc nut over them. Sounds most likely like a possibly bad nut or two. I'd use what you have and then maybe try a different brand. Using the 3mm size as an example, I've found these to have significantly less issues (as in none) with poorly machined threads, etc. than these, YMMV.
