Default Engine

It's me again, I'm running my engine just basically running some fuel through it not really getting it up to speed much as of yet because it's been setting so long. My question is what is the operating temp I need to be running on it. I've not started trying to lean it out or anything yet but don't want to over heat it either. Keep in mind this engine has set for over 5 years. But it is running and seems to be running fine with no issues after I got it loosened up.

Thanks

If your engine is new and has been run in, and you have just had it sitting for a while, just make sure you warm it up for a little while before you take it for a few runs at full speed or on a track. depending on what sort of weather/humidity you run in, that will have influence on how hot or cold your engine gets, where I live, say on a race day, I usually have my engines temping round 120-130 celcius, not sure what that is in fahrenheit.... good luck with it, hope this gives you some idea...
