Default Track build question

Hey guys quick question. There is a new indoor track being built out in my area and they just got clay delivered this week and everyone is posting about you have to put some kind of cover on the concrete before you lay the clay down. Why do they have to have a barrier between the concrete and clay? Just curious thanks

i know this is rather old but wont the concrete pull the moisture out of the clay?
i cant think of any other reasons why they would need to be separated

i think people stop posting because there is nothing to talk about. its not something people want to post in if they have other stuff going on other places in the forum. I don't know about you guys but i would rather talk about rc cars over track making methods...
In addition, if the question has been answered people only post if they are of a different mind.

those are just my thoughts though. I wish that people would get convos going though in more threads.

A lot of the time the question has been answered. Stuff like how to remove a nitro clutch can only be talked about so much. I wish that people would do some more research though before posting simple questions though
