Default Digital Calipers

Would these be good for making sure my shocks are the same for adjusting ride height?

I use a pair I bought at harbor freight for like 10 bucks. They are digital and have an extra battery.

For ride height check out a Losi ride height gauge. Like $10 and works great.

Calipers are a good start for checking-matching shock length side to side. I like to use the locking screw and make it a gage rather than reading numbers.

While also a good start for matching spring preload, not completely accurate though, as weights can be different side to side and the springs can vary some. Perhaps check ride height on both sides front & rear with the other end suspended from the middle.

And if anybody wants to go to the next level in shock matching, consider one of these:

Get the cheapo calipers, plenty good for us and handy for tons of things.
If you really wanna do it right, you do the calipers to start, use the losi matching tool then remeasure to see if there is any minor difference then keep that difference when setting ride height. 3 tools. If you are a real nerd get 4 scales too.... I won't even get into that.
