It's sensorless. Sensorless = bad for racing. Not very smooth controllable power. A sensored setup is much better for racing. Also, the castle is more of a sport/basher esc. You're gonna want certain adjustments for racing that the castle doesn't offer. Also, arrma is a basher car as well, not designed for racing. If you look closely at all the race cars out there, they have one thing in common, flat chassis made from aluminum or plastic. This keeps the center of gravity lower and provides better handling. I'd say kyosho rb6, tlr 22, or b4.2 are all good choices for racing vehicles.

The shock towers yes, but I think I may just fix up my slash instead of just buying a new buggy roller. Because I have been thinking and this summer I get my license and I need to start saving money for insurance and gas. The only problem I have with it is that it is extremely high off the ground like OMG bad. And I have to buy new hex nuts and tires because I stripped them (facepalm). Forgot to check them. Any tips?

I have been looking mostly at a b4.1 roller 4x4 to put my side winder in or a traxxas bandit roller. I also considored buying a nice looking but really really cheap 4x4 from nitro rcx 1/10 scale. But then i reasoned against it due to the big possibility of not being able to get parts or ugrades

Haha I will have to show my dad this, He thinks it isn't a good idea because I am going to Tennessee for spring break and have to use my money for that too. Even though I will still have plenty. And for when I need to pay for gas and stuff I will try and find a job or something.

if your track has a spec 2wd slash class then buy it and race it. B4.1 is a 2wd buggy (rear wheel drive) and B44.1 factory team is the 4wd buggy with actual woven carbon graphite pieces like chassis, upper deck, and shock towers. Team Associated has been updating both vehicles with newer version (world and dot(.) 2). I would think there are some reasonable rollers for sale for either buggy. My recommendation is make sure get the factory team version when looking at 2wd B4.1 buggy. In general, most racers don't keep the race car/chassis too long when a later version is available so you should be able to score a deal.

That's high for a roller B4.1 (2wd); even if it was factory team. In my view, B4.1 factory team roller should be in the range of $100 - $125. I don't know about others, but when I sell used stuff my price is 1/2 of what would cost to buy the same model as new.

Oh wow I did not know that if you know any one selling can you point me to them?
