2) What is the dimmensioanl limitation of the avatar (80x80 ?)
3) How many posts do I have to make before I can upload one ?

avatars have to be under 80x80, thats the size...just look around the net for one..you do not have to make a certain amount of posts before you can make one, unless its just 1 post.

One more thing, if you have a pic and its bigger than 80X80, then you have to resize it yourself. Some software that can do resize jobs are adobe photoshop, dreamweaver etc.

you can also take it down to size using paint, it may take some of the quality out though

Avitar #2 or Avitar #4 would be my choices... ( file name Avitar1/4)

It looks as if AE_Racer cleared up the other questions. No you don't need any posts to have an avitar, but it would not be seen untill you post ( avitarts only show on posts... not the profile )

I am going to move this to the "RCTech Forum" It is better suited for that forum, and hopefully will help out other members. The RCTech forum is basicly for questions about the website.

I will also change the thread name to "Avitar Questions" unless someone has a problem with this.

Sorry about placing my Q in the wrong forum.
I am working on a few RC related avatars right now as well ... not having a lot of luck. The square nature of the 80x80 size limit makes it tough when most digicams, mine included, output rectangular images ... no worries, I like a good challenge

Troy, I noted that you corected my spelling of "avatar". I am not trying to be a smarty pants, but I looked it up and "avatar" is the correct spelling:

I make my own avatars, I like to do anamated ones...I use jasc psp, I like it alot better than photoshop...

Yeah, it does pose a small challenge... Thats why i made mine .gif's No digicam involved.
