Default New to the world of RC's

I had no idea how much fun it was to drive RC trucks. My kids are really having a blast as well. Looking forward to reading and learning about everything. Great forum!

Welcome to the hobby. I grew up with tyco cars and got completely hooked back in high school when my buddy got a HPI Nitro MT.

Be sure to check eBay for deals also. I've bought many parts cheaply on there vs paying full retail. Many folks will buy kits and then sell the parts individually way below retail. For example a radio tray normally costs about $25 but I've bought a couple for $10 shipped and brand new.

Just remember to keep an eye out for deals and know what parts typically go for. This might involve studying an online catalog such as amain. Then when you find a deal pounce on it.
