I started out with a TA04 PRO, it was a great little car, and took many big Novice hits

Got rid of mine a little while back; someone took the roller for $60; the chassis and differential were extremely worn out.

Default 1st rc

1st RC was a Tamiya TL-01 , then a Tamiya TA04 - R Tuned chassis

Then to the full rqace spec kits

HPI Pro4 sold that a week later 4 a Tamiya TRF415 ...whoohooo .!!!

Racing the TL01 was the most fun i've ever had ....was no fuss an almost unbreakable....lol

I'm new to RC racing, figured I would start with a RC10 T4, used, which I should receive this week. In the past I raced Go Karts for 15 years on the national circuits. So I'm really looking to move to Nitro, but for now, to learn, I'm starting out with Elec.

Default Back in the day

As a rookie back in the day I ran a Tamiya Hornet, completely stock except the tires. Yes, three step controller and all. Then I moved to the venerable gold tub RC-10 with an ESC, stock otherwise.

Now my son, a rookie in on-road electric, is running a Tamiya TB-02. I see other posts where people say they run a TB-02 because they are rookies. My son races with some serious vets, many of whom run TB-02s. Plenty of life in that car, not just for rookies.
