I was suggested the turnigy nano tech's which are from hobbyking. But as you can see in this thread I still haven't received them. I watched a video on youtube of somebody doing some comparisons with the nano tech and gens ace. They both seemed to be pretty evenly matched up. I will post some pics or try and post a link to a video of my 2wd traxxas slash when I do get my 2s lipo's. Cant wait though.

A few guys here are running NanoTech Saddle packs.
The only problem I see with them is the case will melt because the packs
are too powerful for the case itself. Im sure the higher end packs have better
casing. Until this issue is resolved Id stay away from those packs, it
will melt the case so much making the pack not useable anymore.
While they may be cheaper than other brands, they also have bugs to work out.
The Gens Ace batteries are better, heck if you racers want a high end pack for
cheaper you can get the promatch batteries, I hear nothing but good things
about either brand.

Just got my turnigy's and am very happy with the speed it gives my slash. Havent gone to the track yet. But I know I'm going to need some better tires. If your going to order from hobby king kabul rc. Be prepared to wait for the lipos. It took almost a month for me to recieve mine in the US. I got a question about the low voltage cut off. What would be a good lvc point? My esc has different settings of how low it can go. The lipos that I got are 5000mah 2s 25-50c nano techs. The settings that my esc has are 2.6, 2.8, 3.0, 3.2 and 3.4.
Thanks to all for the replies and comments.
