Default using rc motor for pitching machine

Hi i am planning to buy a rc motor but not using it for rc cars....instead i was building a pitching machine. what spec of motor should i go after? those with high torque or high rpm works better for pitching machine?

sometimes when i check motors they often dont give complete detail of the motor...etc they only give rpm but no torque or turns. sometimes, they give the motor turns but no rpm rating...how are we suppose to find out?

also another question...the pricing of motors seems weird. some cheap motors has way higher rpm rating than those expensive ones. shudn't the faster the motor turns the more expensive they are??
