Shaft adjustments...

If you going to shorten the shaft then I suggest you pull the rotor out of the motor so the metal shavings doing build up inside the motor as you are cutting or grinding. I had to take about 3/8" off mine to fit in a buggy and i just used a grinder to gently grind the shaft down a little at a time to make sure you don't heat up the shaft and make it brittle.
Clean up the edges so the pinion will slide on smoothly.
You can always replace just the rotor if needed.
Again this may void your Warranty so check with Tekin before you modify.

thanks
Ok thanks . I went ahead and cutt it last night. After talking to another member and giving it some thought . I finally figured I could always but a new rotor if something goes wrong or if I decide to use the motor for a different car later on. Thanks for the feed back I appreciate ur help .
