Default Gearing and setup for large wheels

I recently got a pair of the 3.8 Road Rage Tires on Desperado rims for my RC8T. I like to tune and test at a nearby parking lot so I wanted a tire that I can burn up on pavement.

My question is; Do I need to make any adjustments to the gearing or setup to accommodate the heavier wheels?

Put another way, what are the considerations when putting monster truck wheels on a truggy?

i think there is a gearing calculator online that you can use that accounts for the changes in wheel size, but the bottom line is, the bigger the wheel, the lower your final drive ratio (numerically), which is akin to running a bigger pinion. how much? i don't know -there is some math there.
