If your car is listed, this site will give you a top speed calculation:

You shouldnt run 5900kv with 3s lipo. The RPMs would probably be too high. With a fully charged 3s pack and a 5900kv your almost at 75k RPM. Tacons are good motors, but..... I suggest 2s with that motor. But honestly I would look at the 3200kv or 3500kv on 3s or maybe 3930kv or 4400kv on 2s. Then gear up for speed. In offroad apps a 5900kv motor will be hot and too much honestly. When I first went brushless I ran out for a 5500kv EZrun and 7700kv Castle. Both where too much. I now like around 3500-4500 and run taller gearing. Lower KV motors will run cooler and if its not fast enough just go up 2 teeth on your pinion. Starting with such a high rated motor you'll be buying tiny pinions trying to keep temps down and not kill your motor. I can tell you my neighbor runs the Tacon 3650 3930kv in a Rustler VXL on 2s geared 28/86 and it FLYS!! Atl least 40-45+mph. Which is faster than you might think.
And Sidewinders dont like 3s that much. It will run hot as hell. Probably will thermal on you. And there rated at 100 amps and Tacons are amp hungry. I think that motor is rated at 100 or more. You'll be puttin that ESC to its limits. Trust me, you'll regret it if you try the set up.

5000mah 30C minimum for all 1/10th setups to be in warranty. Keep that in mind. Granted you're not using a Castle motor, but it will cause ripple if you have too low of a capacity/C rated battery pack. That can damage the ESC. My .02.
