Well you could send about 3k of that to my paypal since your jus gonna blow it anyways?! 4k will buy you about 4 bada$$ cars or trucks and whatever else you need to run them! Jus sayin...

Seriously though I would would look into what kind of racing they have in your area, that way if and when you are ready to race it won't be a hassel. For instance the closest dirt track to me is over an hour and a half away! Secondly what suits your needs? Are you jus looking to bash?

As a noob with no idea spend $200 on a cheap RTR and see how it goes. After you get used to it and get the bug then get something more suitable.....

In the meantime invest the other $3800 in lotto tickets....

I'm a bit confused...You have 4k to blow, but have no idea about RC. Curious as to why you have that much money to blow on something you don't know anything about. Did you parents give you that money or trust fund kid, or do you have a extremely great job?

4k in RC CAR sport will buy you the best RC car with the best upgrade and best everything, however just because you can afford it doesn't mean you can drive it.

Like the guy said above go buy a 200 or even the 600 vorza and try out racing before you blow all your money on something you may not even like.

Heck if you reallllllly like blowing money so funly try RC HELICOPTERS that will be sure to kill those funds real fast learning how to fly

I'd say the first thing you need to decide is if you want to be able to go off road or not. I just got back into RC the end of last year. If you have no idea and just want something fun to try out, I'd recommend a 1/16th brushless e-revo. They are super fast if you throw a set of lipos in and a decent deal at around $280. No need to blow 4 grand on something that you're not even sure you like yet.
