Default Ballstud and linkage help

Need some advice on how to get linkages pushed over the ends of ball studs

Im building a SC10 4x4 kit and can't figure out how to get the studs inside the linkages

Its feels as if I would break the linkage if I tried to force it on to the ball stud.

Any tips/tricks to this?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Default Ball Studs

I always use a pair of needle nose pliers. You won't break it.

I've been eyeballing it, having a hard time getting it to grip and leverage the right way.

I'll keep trying.

If you put the ball stud onto it's knuckle, tower, hub, etc., you may have an easier time getting a grip on it, then you should be able to pop the linkage on by hand. If you have a vise or vise-grip style pair of pliers, those may be easier to use to push the linkage on as well, since they provide a more linear force than needle-nose pliers.

I use a little 6 " pair of channel locks for that. Works good. the jaws are more parallel than needle nose pliars.

We covered this for you in the SC10 4x4 thread where you also posted the same question...
