Both are good cars but if their one of your first, you might want to stick to electric. If you want a short course truck, the hpi blitz is great and so is the associated sc10. The hpi vorza, associated b4.1, and the losi 22 or 8ight are good buggies

I see that you are looking at truggys. The losi is a little to much for just bashing and quite expensive. The associated is a better fit but is also expensive and since both are race built machines may not give you the performance you are looking for. Replacement parts are easily available though.

For a good bashing truggy that can also run with the big dog if setup properly is the Thunder Tiger ST1. Its only $369 rtr and will take a pounding! I ran one and beat it into the ground and it always was ready to go the next round, never broke any parts. I just went through tires. Parts though are not available in most hobby stores but you can find them on the web at sites like thundertiger4u.com and parts are very inexpensive. Also some mugen mbx5t parts will work oon it as well.

thanks a lot guys,
amm, i was thinking about electric set-up, to convert the car into electric.
NorthCentral RC, thanks for the advice, but maybe i will look for used kit and this kit is not "known" like the losi or the associated so its hard to find used one.
i dont need rtr kit, i have str servo, and radio already.

Short course trucks are great for bashing and you can find rollers for farely cheap.
