Exclamation any more ideas before I shoot it?

Ok yes im a noob to this. To start off I got a sprint 2 sport. And having the well known rear belt issue. My car eats about one a week. Yes I have cut out the guards and it helped a bit. But seriously a belt a week...I have heard of putting tape on the slots under the motor and batt vents. But will the motor overheat? If it will not kill the motor im buying some duct tape Im so open to ideas at this point again I have already did the guard mod. Next question ware is a cheap place to get the belts for a sprint 2? Some one please any new ideas before I seriously pull my glock and dump a mag into it.

I havent even looked up the car, but we run hi performance engines and we dont use a belt per week so something is wrong with the build...

Looking now...

Rear belts snapping or fraying?

Check pulleys.

yea i got all that right. but its little stones and rocks getting caught in the rear drive and eating up the belt. The hole under motor is the only (close) place for rocks to get in. Will putting tape on the belly near the rear overheat motor? or will it be ok, im sure it will greatly cut-down on debris getting in. and about the position of the baring cup on the ends and the little nub with 3 holes im using the center slot im assuming its a belt tensioner. It does not give you much description in the book other than (note direction). And thats about it. the descriptions in the book defiantly need to have a little more detail.

Make the hole bigger to let the debris out, no matter how much you shield, debris WILL get in so allow it to get out too!

Those holes are in all the 1/8 off road cars and trucks. Once in a while a big rock will jump up and land near my center spur, grinding on it. You should try running it on some clean surfaces to see if it still eats it.
