Default Drilling body mount holes

I have a new painted body without holes, its resting on the four mounting poles on the car where I want it. Is there a way to find the hole locations?

Some sort of paint on the top of the body posts.

For future reference, Trim body, mark hole locations on the outside with a permanent marker, then paint. Trimming after painting sucks, and you'll get better alignment results this way.

Also, if you did the old scissor method on your body, use a sharp razorblade on the outside body lines, use the scissors to cut into the corner, and then the pieces snap off with nice clean lines. Scissors stress the line when you cut.

You might try using a bright light under your car.
Move the light around until you see the Shadow of the mounting poles, I let the car hang off the table so I can get the light under the car, then mark them on the body.
Make sure your body is setting level on the poles.

Hope that helps ya

I got an already painted body from IGThobbies and didn't even consider this issue at the time of purchase... thanks for the suggestions so far, very helpful.

I put masking tape on the inside of the body and silver paint on the top of the body post, worked good for me.
