First off I’m a noob to R/C’s. Growing up as a kid, I would read the magazine R/C CAR ACTION and would learn all I could.

I would dream about my first RC car or truck.

I just ordered my first R/C truck a “Losi: 1/10 Desert Truck RTR: (LOSB0102)”.

Before it even arrives to my home, I have been thinking of ways to customize it.

When I’m done, I’m hoping to have the body painted black and red with black chrome wheels.

I also want to put red locknuts, red bead lock rings, and red shock springs on it.

First, I’m looking at just changing the look of the wheels and was wondering if these changes can be done?


And now for the questions.

Can I take the chrome wheels and replace them with black chrome wheels?

If so, does losi carry them in black chrome with red lock rings?

If not, is there a company that makes them that will work with this particular truck?

My truck came today.

The only thing is I have to sit here until the charger and battery pack comes.

I was told losi is not up to date with the times and it did not come with a battery pack and charger.

So I ordered a Dynamite Prophet Plus AC/DC Peak Charger and a Venom 7.2V 3300mAh NiMH Stick Battery Pack
