Default How many C's do I need?

After looking at chargers and such I was wondering how high a C rating I need. I plan to get a SC10 (brushless I hope) and maybe a Ruslter for my son. If I'm not going to use anything mod do I need much more than 20-25c?
I'm still figuring out this lipo stuff.
Thanks
Mark

I'd try to aim for something that can discharge 120 amps to be safe....

Soo.... if a 4000mah that would be 30C, if a 5000 then 25C...

I'm sure 100A would be fine as well...

I guess what Im saying is pick the capacity and discharge rate together.

25C-30C would be sufficient for a 10th scale application.

If you start racing the sc10 you will probably want to get a 40c or higher. I would recomend a venom 5000 20c for a starter lipo. they fit in all vehicles and are available at almost any hobbyshop. the hobbyking batteries are really cheap and work well but the hard case ones don't fit in all applications. Hope this helps a bit.
