Default Older Novak Question

I just got back into R.C. after a couple year break. I just got a B4.1. The basic one with the brushed motor. My reason for this is because I have a Novak SS5800 motor/esc sitting around. My question is will this work with the newer 2.4 Ghz radio systems. I have the one that comes standard with the Associated RTRs. I just wanted to know before I started swapping things out.

Thanks in Advance!

Cool. It's amazing how far the technology has progressed in just a couple years. When I got out brushless motors had just come out. Same with 2.4 GHz radios. Plus the prices are so low now. It's a golden age.
