Default Clean a lexan body?

Do any of you clean your lexan bodies before you paint them? If so what should I clean a body with? Thanks.

something like Ivory dish soap and warm water. Don't remove the plastic coating on the outside till you're done painting.

Yes, and make sure you get all the soap off the body after washing it...i didn't one time and the paint didn't bond correctly.

And make sure you don't leave your fingerprint grease anywhere that you want to paint in the inside of the shell....
