Default Getting back in RC after 10+ years.

Sup folks. I'm planning on getting back into the RC hobby after a long, long break. My first RC was the Tamiya Hotshot back when I was a kid and few others along the way. My last car was an HPI RS4.

I've been visiting the local track lately and now I want to get into the 1/8 buggy scene. I am starting from scratch while I have my eye on a RC8BE kit. I have never raced before but I think I'm a fast learner. Can't wait!

Any tips for a noob are welcome..

Lipo needs a good charger and you need to know how they work, how to charge then, maintain and protect them and not endanger anyone due to your handling.

Welcome to the forums btw....

Do a lot of research and learning. Make sure you get yourself a quality charger and lipo. Other than that, a good servo and motor/ESC package and you should be pretty safe. The biggest "learning curve" is going to be the lipo charging/maintenance
