Question about For sale Thread
Hi, I am a new user here but I have been reading posts for years now on rctech. I know that in some forums I have been in, a new user is required to posts a minimum before they can sell something in the For Sale thread. Is there a minimum here on rctech? Is there also a minimum of posts before I can attach images as well? Thanks in advance for your help.

pics, links and such is 10 posts. The for sale forum might be the same I'm not sure, you could try to contact a moderator and they can "ok" it for you if you have less than 10 I believe.

Thanks for the advice. I tried looking for an answer to my question in the "for sale guidelines" thread but could not find anything specific in regards to minimum posts.

One other question, when can you edit posts here? I tried editing a post but it told me I was restricted.

There no mimimum to post in the FS/FT thread, but there may be some kind of Mod based approval required. 10 posts is required to post pics, urls and send PM, but nothing else afaik.
Try posting your ad and see what happens. If it doesn't show up, its waiting on a mod to 'approve' it. They went to this approval to eliminate the spambots that used to be a prob here. Mods usually deal with this pretty quickly, so in the end, its not a big deal, small inconvienence to pay to eliminate the spam!

There is no minimum post count required to use the FS/T forums. New poster needs to be approved by a mod once the mod is sure the poster is a person and not a spambot. Appears this is for any posting though, not just FS/T ads.

Maybe if you just keep posting away, it eventually just happens? Suspect soemwhere one of the mods is approving them, maybe just a little later that usual.
