Best RTR SCT?

Best RTR SCT?
What's the best RTR SCT under $300?
I would rather get a kit but I'm pretty sure with electronics, everything will be over budet.
I've been looking at the Associated Brushless RTR, the magazines make it look good.
Are there any other Brushless RTR SCT's under $300?
I would use for racing on carpet, dirt and bashing.
Anything helps,
Thanks.

not really, the associated sc10 rtr brushless 2.4ghz is going to be the best truck for the price. the brushless system in it might not be as powerful as others out there, but for a quality truck with brushless and 2.4ghz its the best bang-for-your-buck rtr sc.

I recently bought an SC10 2WD RTR Brushless, and it is one helluva machine. The truck feels nearly indestructable, though the body is prone to breaking. Some Shoegoo and fiberglass cloth can prep your body to keep it from being damaged though.
As far as performance, out of the box it is winning races hands down over Losi and Traxxas trucks in box-stock class around here, though a lot of that may come from more experianced drivers.
