Default Brushless Setups for a 1/8 scale buggy.

Just doing some research now for a Possible Brushless Conversion for my Ofna Lx Comp. I know there are some setups that vary by the size of the vehicle (for example you can't put a 1/10 scale setup in a 1/8 scale due to the extra weight) I just want to know the ideal sized motor and voltage of batteries that would be able to power my Buggy.

Another question, what is 13.5T, 17.5T, and 8.5T when I look at this

Those are diff motors, BL motors go by turns or KV or both - discussed in here -

As far as buggy choices, most seem to run them on 4S voltage wise, I'll let others comment on which motors might be good choice.

I have a ofna 1e and I am running it on mamba monster 2200kv on 4s lipo.
More than fast enough. a little to fast for a beginner like me.

Drop the gearing a touch, one or two fewer teeth on the pinion, make it easier to control.

I run a Tekin RX8 ESC and a Tekin T8 1900kv motor in my 8ight-E 2.0 on a 4s and it's perfect for me with more than enough power to get me in trouble . This setup will handle a 6s lipo also, so I have room to grow with it.

One note, the kv rating doesn't really carry the same meaning with different sized motors. Generally, the bigger the motor, the lower the kv for similar output. i.e. a 7.5t 5500kv 1/10 scale motor on 2s has about 1/3 the power of a 1900kv 1/8 scale buggy motor on 4s.
