Are you referring to what speed control you can run with the motor. You can adjust timing etc through the ESC?

What kind of esc are you running? You can normally adjust the timming through your esc by programming card/box or witrh your transmitter. Read your esc instuctions. Some motors can be adjusted to set the timming. Theres no "special" turnigy wrench thou. If thats what your asking.

1st, Thanks for replying!!

I would like to control the motor to turn in both directions, i do not have an ESC and to tell you the truth I don`t know how an ESC functions.

Ok so let me clarify things a much as I can, I`m doing a control/imaging project. The aim of the project is to intercept a ball, to simple explain it like arkanoid game concept, where I am moving a small plate on a single axis using a pully-drive system, that`s where the motor comes in.

This a simple diagram of the concept:[pls can someone link this image as i am only allowed to post URLs to other sites after until I have made a certain number of posts and I have not reached that limit yet.thanks just add the h ttp:// w ww. infront of it]

hostimageonline.com/images/project.jpg

I need some sort of driver for the motor and I figure that what the ECS is fo,r so what ECS should I get? All I know about this motor is that it function like a 3 phase motor and I can not find a data sheet for it.

If you didn't get a driver CD with the unit I'd check the Turnigy site for your motor and see if they have a free download driver, then USB port it to your pc.

I'm pretty sure he didn't get an ESC, and that's what he means by " a driver" You would have been better off buying a brushed motor and running it off straight DC power.

You can either run the Tekin ESC cause it has the timing boost setting or maybe like an LRP ESC, but I think they are having issues with them. LRP is still working on the updated software for them.
