I started in the RC car hobby in the mid 80’s, but haven’t raced competitively since 1996 (mostly 1/12 scale carpet and some 1/8 scale nitro on-road).

I’ve been lurking here for a while and doing lots of homework (thank you rc-tech!) and finally broke down and bought a new B4.1 FT. My plan is to race 17.5 stock buggy at a new indoor track that’s opening 10 minutes from the house. Can’t wait!

Lake in the Hills, IL HobbyTown. It's an indoor dirt track track.
