The packs at Promatchracing.com are very good, Im sure there will be more recommendations for them to follow. But now that I have given you a recommendation I feel justified in telling you that you will not regret changing your mind about lipo

I would get lipos, but i dont want to spend the money on a cheap charger, batteries, shipping etc.

I just want to play with my car. I also have a NIMH charger, and i got a brand new VXL Velineon and went to lpay with my car and my battery was fried.

tired of spending money on this thing.

So trying to just go NIMH now.

thanks.

I wouldn't buy NiMh off eBay - they're likely low quality chinese cells to start with and won't last long or run well. Either the CBP packs or a pack from Promatch -

Promatch's matched packs look like they're about the same price as the CBP packs (unmatched?).

I'm not suggesting you get lipo, I'm TELLING you to get it. Especially with a brushless system. Without the lipo you might as well just throw a silvercan in it. You can get lipos and a charger for less than some NiMh nowadays.

^^^Would def agree there.

If you're in this expecting to not spend money, maybe you should re-think the choice. Parts break, batteries die, things wear out, there's maintenance....it doesn't stop.

Word! Throwing money "at this thing", crashing in spectacular fashion and pulling your hair out in frustration is what this hobby is all about!

Adversity builds character. Every R/C er has good times, and bad ones!
If not using lipo go promatch batteries.
