i have a traxxas nitro stampede. i started it. it ran. when i put it on the ground. it died. now when i try to start it. it just makes a spinning sound, and doesnt turn over. what could the problem be?

The one way bearing. Take the starter off, clean and inspect.

Sounds like your one way brg is slipping. When you take it apart, make sure you note which way it came off - if you put it back together backwards, it will do nothing but slip.

Clean it with some motor spray and clean the OWB shaft as well, use some thin oil and re-assemble.
