Default Battery........... dead again!!

Hi all,

It seems problems keep on coming for my truck,or maybe i'm just being paranoid.Just when i think my servos problem are over, now came with the receiver battery.

a) The power remains low even i have charged my battery for a solid 2 days!
b) Try to switch to a peak detection charger but still fails
c) Has my battery runs out?
d)Is it got something to do with my ON/OFF switch?Cos there's one particular moment that i accidentally connect the battery wrongly and the switch cable melted just abit, but even after that, connection seems normal.

FYI,im using Team Orion 1600 Mh and Prolux TX-RX charger.

Pls advice...thanks in advance!

btw your rx is using LiPo or NiMH. That does make a difference if shorted.

besides that you can loan another battery from your friend to accertain the fault too.

Peak charingwill give you a better charge for a NiMh rx pack. If the charger shuts down quickly, its prob false peaking and you need to reset it and try again. False peaks can be common and you may need to reset it several times. The pack should get pretty warm if its is charging correctly. NiMh peask at like temps of 120-130F.

Make sure when youi reverse connected it and partially melted teh wiring that you have damaged the wiring. This switch may be damaged and part or all of the prob.
