Default loosing signal on my vintage losi

hi everyone,

it seems that I have a small problem

my car sometime runs when i dont touch the throttle

it seems like i have a bad signal,

im pretty sure its the antenna????

do you think it could be the problem, that the antenna is not place high enough?

or it might be something else?

if so, where do i get a replacement one? do i need the antenna it self or the "plastic tube"

thx

you MIGHT have weak batteries. try replacing/recharging the batteries and see if that works

Could be anything.. not really enough information to help. Type of radio? type of receiver? pictures of antenna? is it touchign anything? Is it vertical? What kind of motor are you using? If it's brushed, are you running diods or caps on it? you can't really expect to post such a general question without giving us ANY details and expect us to come up with a fix for you.

well, its a vintage car from early 1990 , losi jrx pro

right now the antenna isn't vertical, thats why i think it might be the problem,

its horizontal and the tip of the antenna is going down...

everything is old, but its all working..

this problem is fairly new.. never happened before

i would post some pics of my stuff, but i didnt reach the posts number...

Try buying a new antenna tube that you can find a your lhs. If that doesn't fix your problem then it could be that your receiver is no good and you will need a new one.

It's not the antenna tube. This kind of thing can happen for all sorts of reasons.

1) antenna touching the graphite chassis
fix = rerun the antenna so it's not touching anything but the plastic holder and tube
2) fautly esc.
fix = find a different esc to use temporarily. If the problem goes away, you found the cuprit
3) faulty receiver or crystal set
fix = borrow or use another radio and recevier set, and see if the problem goes away.
4) somebody on your frequency. try a different set of crystals, see if the problem goes away.
