Looking for a new brushless rally car

Hi all,

I'm new to this forum. I have been running nitro monster trucks for a while (Savage X). I would like to get into an asphalt electric that I could use as a dirt track rally car.

What I think I want

Brushless
Lipo powered
Smallish (~390mm length)
High quality
Would prefer a kit versus RTR

thoughts?

Not many options really. Take a look at Tamiya's DF-03RA. It comes as a kit and I have heard good things about it. I have an old HPI rally RS-4 and sometimes see them for sale on auction sites, but parts are getting hard to find. The other option would be to look into converting something into a rally. Not sure how the DF-03 driveline will handle brushless though. I have to fix stuff like every run on my old HPI, but I am pretty hard on it. Last time I melted the center pulley and ate up the rear belt. There is a slipper available for the DF03 so that should be a given.
