How come there's no NYC thread in the North American Regionals Section???

Anyone know the RC Club Prez of Sheepshead Bay H.S. circa '91-'93? I wouldn't be surprised if he's a member here! I believe his name was Vic or Victor, not sure. I was part of the RC Car Club in SBHS back then, & want to get back into it!

I live next to Brooklyn College, I was wondering where all the RC action is near my house! Doesn't have to be competitive, I don't care if it's someone who runs there car @ the park on Utica ave & Ave N, or some ppl who race boats in prospect park, I just want to be a spectator or fan...for now! Lol!

There a few threads for each place, Brooklyn Hobbies has a Mini-z track, there is an offroad track on Gunhill rd in a park, NYRC has a mini-z track in whitestone on 20ave, NYC hobbies is opening an indoor carpet track in queens as well. There are few more options outside the 5 boroughs.
