its bveen a while since I posted this thread and have to come love my BD3.5. I hauls ass and is holding up pretty good so ar I do break it alot but i drive hard. I hit stuff like parking blocks and brick walls at full throttle. I cant seem to help it, where I go its wide open and I just hammer down till I wreck.

I am wanting to get Into some Off Road Racing and will be purchsing a new ride, abd although I love the Redcat I am leaning to a hot bodies d8t truggy

If you have the parts support then getting out there on track with the Redcat is the best thing you can do. Sure, there are better cars out there, but what good is spending all that money just to learn to drive and decide if it is something you want to do? If you didnt have the parts support it would be a different story.

I am loving mine. Even though it got ran over and totaly screwed the backend.. It was eaiser to get the parts than it was to get the money.. If you need any parts try www.urchobby.com he has all of it for the bd 3.5 (all redcats) in stock no drop shipping.

This is very true. Parts support is a huge issue and while these vehicles do break a lot they are easy and VERY cheap to fix. The brushless trucks are a blast as well.

My buddy just purchased a redcat backdraft 8E from a friend who didn't like it. It brakes almost every few times it's out on the track, however when it doesn't brake, it keeps up pretty good with my 8ight-E 2.0... I was impressed how well it moved around and jumped. However, he's a much better driver than I.

just got the RC TREMOR monster truck, what size are the servos? nano? micro?

the output gear doesn't seem very strong, but that could be just me.
