Losi XXX-NT AD2 Clutch problem

Hello Everybody,
I have a Losi XXX-NT AD2. I bought this truck as a roller with no engine. I am told that this truck needs a pilot shaft crank engine. All I have is a Picco/JLR .12 which has a SG type crank. Is there any way to install a SG type engine in this truck? Thanks,JR

I believe you can cut the extra length off the shaft and jury-rig it together using a traxxas clutch bell. Much easier to just get the correct engine tho.
