The DT is pretty much just a XXX-t with some things done to it, IMO I think it's kind of lame... but to each is own.

Of the XXX-T MF2 & CR, I would go with the CR. The new EA3 material it's made out of is better for the type of tracks that are around today.

I have never owned a AE truck but i do run a B4 and own a few XXXt's, I like both products i think it's just a preference. I run the AE buggy cause a few friend also so we always have parts between us and likewise for the trucks. Buy what you like and what your LHS supports.

I prefer AE but I used to run Losi a while back. It seems like Losi is changing gears and has not been paying much attention to 1/10 scale electric racing. Some guys I race with have been selling their Losi's because it is becoming more difficult to find parts for them-at least around here. I heard Losi doesn't have a racing team for 1/10 anymore. Seems like they are putting most of their attention to 1/8 and RTR vehicles.
I think this is because Gil Losi went to Kyosho.

I have been a loyal GM fan but things are changing. I may become a Porsche or BMW fan soon. Once you drive one of those brands it makes your Corvette feel like a p.o.s. Pinto.

Also, I prefer AE but I have nothing against Losi.Parts are way harder to get for Losi at my local track so for that reason I run AE.

if your running on a bumpy track, the cr is definatly the best you can get. the chassis flexes so you have a real smooth ride. also there is a larger wheelbase so there is more stability.

Right now I don't own one of either, so they BOTH suck.

If you can wait a few weeks til carpet season ends, I might be picking up an Associated truck for the summer from my buddy, and when I get it I'll be able to tell you that they absolutely kick Losi's ass.
^^lol that was cool... and pretty trippy too

My kids have T4s because dad was a firm believer, bought and built both new. Then dad goes off and gets a used CR. Both are quality products. To echo what's already been said, get what your LHS supports. I'm lucky, they race trucks on site and support both brands.

That being said, Get a Tekin RS/Reline 7.5 combo and crush the competition!

Default Buy the CR if you want to win!

I have been running a T4 for a couple of years now and it is a great truck, however, my brother got a CR for christmas '07 and dominated the track in '08 with the box stock settings only changing the rear springs. Also half way through the season my dad found a used CR and ran that instead of his T4 and ran right behind my brother. T4's made up most of our electric field, but in the end it was the CR that beat us all. I can say that I did not break as many arms with the T4 though, but my brother is known for pushing his trucks to there limit and beyond sometimes.
