Default engine tuning

i came accross topics such as top and bottom ends.can you pls. enlighten me with these things?thanks!

Chad,

can't give you an exact answer since your question is too general. Top end & Bottom end could be a referance to RPM range of the engine, ie: wanting more torque at lower RPMs (bottom end). this could also be a referance to the "top" of the the engine (head & plug) vs the bottom (crank, rod & bearings)

or it could be how to carry your car

I bet he's talking about high speed, and low speed needle settings.
