Default tire warmers? servos? radio?

Hey whats with these tire warming machines? what exactly do they do? Also is it necessary to get a new servo and ditch the one that came with the radio? Also are there any radios where they supply you with more than 1 receiver to use on multiple cars?

tire warmers are for getting the temp up on your tires befor the rac to help with tracksion instead of running a few laps to get tires warm enough and up to race temp.,,,,servo? you dont have to get a new one it depends on your degree of driving but it does help depending on usage .. onroad, offroad ... recivers dont think so , but you can purchase recivers at you local hobby retailer.

i also have been wondering about tire warmers, why buy them, since you could just run a few laps before the race, and save 50 bucks. Also, could they work on foams? I suggest a JR metal gear servo, there great, and those futaba 3003's are crap.

pro3racer - People have money to burn and they really do make a difference, having grip off the line is much nicer then having gobs of wheel spin. Yes they do work with foams, you usually put compound on then heat them up so the compound really gets into the tyres.
