Tx Rx batteries
Hi,
Read the thread on NiCd vs NiMh with interest. I have a different question about batteries. Which are the best batteries to use for transmitters and receivers. I run nitro on road and want something different from using rechargeable AA's. What are Lipos like for this ?
Thanks for your help

how long is your truck in storage before you race it?
nicads may store better, but bang for the buck is still in NiMh's
lipos would'nt be cost effective for that yet. Not to mention you may have voltage issues. Each lipo cell is 3.7 volts closest you could get was 7.4
where as a hump pack sits at 6.0?

Depends on the application. There are receiver packs for 1/12th electric too to help your servos and help with run time, also for Touring cars electric. Lipos work for nitro, electric, on and offroad, you may need a voltage regulator in some circumstances too.
