Default striping screw pls help~(mugen mtx4)

hi,
does anyone come across this problem?my ride was mugen mtx-4

-2mm hex screw head strip until look like a circle~ (how to take that screw out???mine was silver steel screw at front steering ,upper deck)

-1.5mm front droops 1 side strip too...

pls help, i cant able to get that 1.5mm out at 1st ,then the 2nd matter 2mm screw problem comes again~very very frastrated ...
im new just involve rc half years , any pro advice will kindly appriciate, sorry for my bad english too...

ps:im not sure am i posting the correct thread here or nitro onroad zone, i will post both hope is ok

What I learned was to use a dremel and cut a slot in the head of the screw. Then use a flat head screw driver and unscrew it. You just have to replace the screw after. Its pretty easy to do.

A little heat should help loosen it up if you put threadlock, try not to melt anything tho. check your allen head, might be time to replace it. that might be causing you to strip screws

hi thanks for ur replies ...

as for the tips , is brand new speedmind 2mm tips, so i dun think is tip causing me this mess...

i able to loosing that dam screw by using bigger plier hold at bottom steering stand , then turn anticlockwise n wala~ a "tap" sound from the strip screw, then i manage take it out already...

wont using steel screw any more...

yes it could be your tip, because after you "slip" a few times it can round the edges. What i do every now and then i grind off about 1-2mm off the top of the hex so that it gets rid of the round edges.
