hi, im new to this planning on making a offroad track car out of hyper 7 gear and my own body any hints/tips

Only tip: it's easyer to just get a RTR rather than putting a car together out of stuff laying around.

Yeah, The kits you also spend more money on, in my opinion. Id stick with an rtr and learn from there and when you are confident enough then move to a kit.
