ok, so whats all this buisness about motor sizes? i understand that 540 is bigger/more powerful than, say, a 280, but wht does this number measure? is it height, legth, or just a number? and what about the Kv rating. i think it measures power, but what does it stand for, kilavolts?

not that I am a knowledged R/C dude but I think that the number reflects the length of the can. As far as the kv goes I think that it is a constant or something like the number of RPM's per volt.
