tried to use one of my own pics, but they are to large. can they be resized to work in avatar? if so how do you resize pics?

I think the max you can use is 80x80 pixiles. You can use microsoft paint to make a pic smaller and it will tell you the size.

Go to Microsoft Paint and load the imge you're looking for. Select the Image menu at the top of the screen and then go to the Stretch/Skew option. From here you can select a percentage of the original size to make the image. Do a little math and figure out what will make the image 80X80. Make sure you change both percentages the same amount each time to avoid making the image look stretched out of proportion.

Or if u have a "photo" program, u can just use an option called "image size"
