Angry STEERING problems!! ie no steering

well i have had this car 3-4 days maybe less and well it was supposed to be a tank yet mine broke!!!

basically i hit a curb side on and from their on it lost all steering??

as i didnt build it i have no idea about it (TL01) and really need help.

When you turn the steering on the controller the cars electrics still make a noise like its turning. but the wheels dont turn. if i push the wheels and steering rack and do the controller it does turn a little (bare in mind i started to strip the car down but my eyesight means looking at the manual and little parts is not the best move as i will loose things so the car is still whole)

Whats the problem?? i know youll say you dont know without looking at it but could it be an easy fix for someone who knows about them and more to the point could it be expensive???

tha car stills runs back and forth but no steering??

please help

Possible causes:

Bent tie-rod binding the steering.
Broken Servo Saver
Broken Servo Gears

None are really that expensive and in the case of the last one, you can buy a whole new "standard" servo for @$12 instead of messing with the gears.

When the car is on and you turn the wheel, does the part attached directy to the servo move at all?

Sounds like you busted the servo. Go to your local hobby shop and pick up a new servo. Cheap ones like the futaba 3003 are about $15 and you could spend up to 150$ on a race worthy servo..

Servos are pretty tuff but if you hit curbs you will brake them. For about 30-40$ you can get metal gear servos that will take a little more of that abuse..

Try your best not to hit curbs though
