ta05?
sorry, go too much q's in mind...
how much do you think it is??
and does it come as a kit, that needs building??
if it comes as a kit, what are the things that i would need aside from the kit??
would i need to separately purchase radios, servos and other stuff??
how about the tt01 what do you think about it??
how about other rc brands??
thanks!!
im so happy someone gave me a reply....

Do you want onroad or offroad? Personally for just playing around in the back yard or street you should get an offroader. Something from losi if you can afford it... Associated, traxxas, tamiya those are all nice starter cars. I would go with a asssociated evader with the 15T motor thats a perfect basher that is cheap and parts are easy to find.

Erm, the evader is made by Duratrax, and don't go with an Evader RTR kit when the Losi XXX-T RTR V2 is practically the same price.
Losi parts seem much easier to find.
And if you're thinking of pointing out that I drive an Evader ST, i bought it as a basher, which it works well as, but a XXX-T would be better for introductory racing, seeing as the Evader makes Gumby look stiff!

ive looked up at tower hobbies...
and found this things...
this is a tamiya ta05 chassis kit with a benz body... seems to me that it already includes most things needed for it to run...
here's the url if youd want to check it out...
http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXKSG5&P=7
however it still requires 2CH radio,1 servo and an esc...
ive also looked this up at tower hobbies... and found this Futaba 2PL 2CH am radio with 1 servo and esc...
here's the url also....
http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...I=LXENN1**&P=0
can someone tell me if what im trying to combine will work out...
thanks again for any reply.......

If your looking at something to run up and down the street, have fun on not to much money I would look at the "new" RTR Losi XXXT with the brushless motor. The cost is about $350 US,This is about $100 more than what the TAO5 would be.I figure the TAO5 will cost about $250 with radio and motor. With the Losi truck it has a brushless motor so no maintenance(or much)is required. And they are fast.Check it out..
