Unhappy Engine flood problems

hi, i have a kyosho GP SPider MK2 with a GS11r Engine, my engine was flooded but i removed the glow plug and drained out the fuel, but when i replace my glow plig, the pull start is still stiff and hard to pull, when i remove the glow plug, the pull start is easy to pull.

I am a beginner and any hep would be much appreciated.

Thank You

Loosen up the glow plug about a turn and try to crank it. This will minimize the compression and will be a little easier to pull.

Unhappy

hi, i turned the plug half turn and tried to start it, but i wouldn't, i could feel air coming out the top of the engine when i pulled the pull start, at one point, i removed the air filter, and the caboretor was full of fuel. so i unflooded again by turning it upside down, and tried starting again. still no luck

ps, the needle is set to 2 turns from the closed position

Cheers

Sounds like u may have a faulty carburetor. But Kyosho generally dont have these sorts of problems. Try heating the cylinder up to ease with compression with a heat gun or similar, but be careful not to burn any plastics. Also check your glow starter is working, and your glow plug hasn't been damaged from previous floodings. Also make sure u don't put too much fuel in when priming, and by the way are you priming using the pull start or a primer on the fuel tank.

1. check your glow plug if it's working

2. Invest in a starter box or a hand held starter if you can

be ready to invest in a set of tools....The pullstarter on the GS is quite fragile.
