rookie in some need

Hi,

As you can see, i'm a rookie in the rc world and need some help. I just bought a new rc car and when i start the car up, it runs away then suddenly stops 30 seconds later. What could be the problem and how can i fix it? Does it have to do with the idle thing? Thank you for answering my concern.

Well, if your idle is set to0 high, it will roll on you, and it will cut off because it is overheated!! Check the idle on the controller first..

have u tried turning on ur radio wen u start ur car???

adjust ur needle settings like this

high speed needle (tall gold thing with a screw on the inside thats located on the end of the carbureter) close that screw all the way and then open it up 2 and a half turns (2 1/2)

low speed needle (the needle on the side of the carb wich is gold aswell) should be flush with the carbureter body

follow that tuning and u should be O K if ur not take it to ur local hobby store and tell then to tune it for u

and try changing your glow plug with a BRAND NEW FRESH GLOWPLUG
