Roar's new website

Tim, it's a long way toward being finished. A LOT of effort has gone toward it.
BTW - as an IT professional who has paid people to do websites, that is not always a good solution, in fact I don't EVER hire so-called "professionals" to do websites anymore, ever.
Now I use slave - err, STUDENT - labor.

Boomer,
I have seen the beta site, it is much nicer. I am fully are of the magnatude of effort it takes to get these things done, and the political wrangling that need to be accomplished before any of the html is written.
If you can ( Campus-Shore) your labor.... thats great, you can get some really inexpensive, innovative stuff from that outsource.
But you get the point I am trying to make.
I am trying to take the crown as the bad guy here.

Don't get me wrong.
I'm all for a bit of pressure on people to get the job done. As far as I'm concerned, it's OUR responsibility to make sure that things happen.
However, reasonableness is also called for!
My understanding is that this project was started once by someone and they flaked and now the two guys (who shall remain nameless unless THEY want to advert) have taken the mantle and have come a LONG way in only a couple of months.

Boomer- I will step forward and claim my spot as one of those 2 guys.
The site is coming, trust me. It just needs a little more work and it will be up and running.
Bob - It will be setup to show results not only from Nationals (dating back as far as I can get my hands on) as well as regionals (as long as they are provided by the host track or the regional Director). Even club races if track owners want to post them as well.
Tim - I understand your concerns that is why I pushed to get the site changed. A lot more politics went into the past site and we are trying to avoid that with this one.
I am working on it, but some things take more time then others.

Hows about an update?

The site should have been live a long time ago. This is just giving people who complain about ROAR another reason to keep complaining....
STEP UP AND GET IT DONE. If you need help with it RIGHT NOW, contact me, I will assist.

Same here. Even if it's not 100% finished, you just gotta replace the old site, and quick.
If the message boards aren't ready yet, so what. Get a 'first cut' online, and then you can put all of the bells and whistles on later.

Quick question, though. I noticed this Roar logo at the top of the Forums page. Would this happen to be the winning logo from the new Roar logo contest? I never remember hearing the results, but do remember some really nice submissions.
